This said, while we would love to hire people who have some experience, NO EXPERIENCE is necessary because we will teach you all the stuff you'll need to know.  In fact, you'll have a lot of fun learning how to cook our World Famous Fud Burgers, Chicken Pucker’s, Fish Pucker’s and many of the Fudnominal Culinary Creations that Father Fud and Executive Chef Pierce create.  We also invite you to show your creative talents – and we will reward you if we choose one of your items for our menu.  In addition to having fun and learning how to cook really good stuff, you'll actually learn things that we guarantee will remain with you for the rest of your life.  It’s TRUE, because our focus is on LIFE LESSONS and you will leave here with a boatload of them.

  • You probably already know this, but Fudpucker's is one of the most famous places in Northwest Florida, if not the Universe.  What you may not know, though, is that we are not just famous because of our great food, cold drinks, funny t-shirts and  live alligators (though these things ARE pretty amazing).  Actually, the main reason that Fudpucker's is famous is because we are really good at making people smile, making people laugh and making people feel at home.  And to do that, our training is all about making people feel welcome - and we are really good at doing that for both our visitors AND our employees.

  • Our COOKS take center stage when it comes to making people smile as what they create is such a HUGE part of the Fudpucker Experience.  Father Fud has often maintained that the kitchen is like the engine of a ship and you will not get where you want to go unless the engine is running.  That is why we take such great care of our COOKS and other Kitchen Staff.  Our COOKS learn how to prepare all sorts of food and with as busy as Fudpucker’s is they get LOTS OF PRACTICE!  In fact, you will learn skills that can take you as far in the culinary world as you want to go.  Chef Pierce started here as a COOK 14 years ago and now he is the main man.

  • Of course, in learning to be a good COOK at Fudpucker's, our employees actually develop some incredibly STRONG PEOPLE SKILLS... and, these people skills benefit them throughout their lives - long after they leave Fudpucker's.

  • After someone becomes a Certified COOK at Fudpucker's, regardless of how long they stay, they join an extremely elite team which will always be a source of pride.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Form CC-305

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
